不知道各位是否還記得馬斯克前幾天剛宣布的「環保政策」，馬斯克以車主幾乎用不太到、浪費為由取消特斯拉新車隨附行動充電器。不過就引來第三方資料統計公司打臉，表示超過 6 成的車主都會使用行動充電器，甚至可能是最佳的充電解決方案。
馬斯克說法遭打臉，過半車主都會用行動充電器
4/17 日時有國外記者在推特上發出新聞表示：「特斯拉正式取消新車隨附行動充電器的政策，若想使用行動充電器需要額外購買。」馬斯克隨即回應該貼文：「經過統計，行動充電器的使用頻率非常低，間接導致非常浪費，但特斯拉將會給單獨販售的行動充電套件中，附上更多規格的轉接頭。」

但說實話，馬斯克這邊說的「統計」沒有實質的公開資料，因此不確定到底是真是假，接著就引來了第三方資料統計公司的質疑。Teslascope 是一項收集特斯拉車輛資料的服務，為車主提供一些特斯拉未透露的資訊，同時可以存取世界上的特斯拉車輛資料。
經過 Teslascope 的調查發現，特斯拉的行動充電器不只被廣泛應用，甚至還有可能是最佳的充電解決方案。Teslascope 近一步分析，表示 61% 的車主會使用行動充電器；另外 32% 的車主則是使用壁掛式充電器。

馬斯克尚未回應調查報告，目前仍維持取消隨附政策
目前馬斯克尚未進一步回應 Teslascope 的調查結果，因此有可能還是會維持不復習動充電器的政策。面對外界的抱怨聲浪，馬斯克也說會調降行動充電器的價格（400 美元降為 200 美元）。但現在行動充電器在特斯拉官方商店仍顯示為缺貨。

Note, mobile connector is not needed if you have a Tesla wall connector or to use Superchargers.
Recommend installing Tesla wall connector well before car arrives.
